Philanthropy
An active philanthropist, Tamar supports many organizations and invites you to consider supporting groups that work to improve the quality of life for dogs and other animals.

The mission of Tamar‘s Loved World Foundation is to help people through animals and have fun in the process! In our first program, "Another Chance for Love," shelter dogs are brought to prisons and teamed up with prisoners. The dogs live with the prisoners on a one-on-one basis, and are trained by them using The Loved Dog non-agressive method.

Once certified as “Loved Dogs,” the animals are available for adoption to the public. The prisoners/trainers, meanwhile, have the opportunity to work for The Loved Dog TM center as dog trainers after their release. Read more

Tamar serves as an advisor to the Humane Society of the United States, the nation‘s largest and most powerful animal protection organization, fighting animal cruelty and abuse in all of its forms, and celebrating the human-animal bond.

Tamar also works with Best Friends Animal Society to bring about a time when there are no more homeless pets. Best Friends reaches across the nation, helping humane groups, individual people and entire communities to set up spay/neuter, shelter, foster and adoption programs in their own neighborhoods, cities and states.
