Frosty

Dear Tamar: Our family picked up "Frosty" a 5 yr. old lab mix on Friday from the Chino Youth Correctional Facility. Our adoption was facilitated by my friend and yours, Janette. Frosty was a surprise to our kids and she is so well-mannered and a blessing to our family. The work that your foundation and Janette is doing is a win-win for all of us. Frosty is enjoying his new life in beautiful San Diego and I am enjoying your book. Thanks for making it possible to add Frosty to our lives.

Nemo

Dear Tamar - We received Nemo's file yesterday, thanks! I took him to our new Vet today, and he got his initial exam, with no problems. I've contacted the Microchip company, and am in the process of getting his file updated. Also, I've applied for a dog license. So we're all on track.

We've finished watching the DVDs for the first time through - will definitely review again. And I've finished reading The Loved Dog, and Ray has it now. Some VERY helpful tips and information in both! Other than that, we've been doing a lot of walking and playing. Nemo is a joy to us, and we feel so very fortunate to have him. He had a blast at the dog park! And we loved seeing him run and play with the other dogs. He's just so lovable!

Just want to thank you again, for all your support. It would be great if you could come and visit us sometime! I know you're very busy, but you will always be welcome! It would be nice to review all the commands Nemo knows with you, as we don't know all the hand signals (like bow and around).
